Silent Vastness, Culinaria Living
Why watch TV when you can simply gaze into the distance instead? In the apartments of Culinaria Living, it makes sense to swap the view out of the window for a view of the screen. Because here, the Merano region with its Mediterranean Alpine beauty lies at your feet.
Coming up to wind down
The path up to the equally stylish and cozy Culinaria Living becomes narrower, while the view down into the valley grows ever more impressive. Especially now in spring, when the birds are chirping, the tulips slowly push their heads out of the ground, the jasmine begins to bloom, and the apple trees shine in shades of pink and white. A gentle scent of blossoms and Mediterranean herbs like rosemary, thyme, and lavender lingers in the air. And the palm trees stretch their leaves toward the sky just as the alpine conifers reach up with their needles.
Let’s dream!
What kind of world is it where palm trees feel just as at home as alpine conifers? Where it smells of the mountains and perhaps a little bit of the sea? Where the air is not too warm, but not too cold either. Where people speak Italian, but also German or South Tyrolean dialect. We begin to dream. And lose ourselves in the moment as we look out over the valley from the terrace.
Pure nature
Do we want to immerse ourselves even deeper in these beautiful images that present themselves to us? Perhaps on a walk along the Tappeinerweg, a high-altitude promenade named after the highly esteemed doctor and botanist Franz Tappeiner and often referred to as the crown of Merano. The path leads past 400 different alpine and Mediterranean plants. There are panoramic views at every turn. Or how about a visit to the earth pyramids, those cone-shaped earth formations that rise up in groups?
Bona nuet
It’s nice to pay attention to the wonders of nature, let yourself drift, stop, admire, take a deep breath. And then to return to an apartment that welcomes you with the warmth and cordiality as if you were coming home. The food here at Culinaria Living is fabulously good. And then we look down once again through the floor-to-ceiling windows and watch the sun as it gently disappears, slowly draining the brightness from the valley to make way for the clear, dark night. How quiet luxury can be.
